Ceramics for Kids

In this fun class, kids will learn how to hand-build an animal from air-dried clay. The first animal will be a Bear. The second, if time allows, will be their choice. There will be a demonstration at the beginning of class, along with examples. 

Kids will then move to their areas to construct their Bear. The instructor will be on hand to support, encourage, and work through ideas. Once complete, they will decorate with paints or clay-friendly markers. Each child will go home with one to two animals.

Clay, shareable and limited tools, mini stands (cardboard type) to take art home, pencils, paint, sponges, markers, and instructional handouts to refer back to and take home.
